Just purchased a somewhat used o8 Versys. Have not had a motorcycle before and I don't think I will do any riding till spring at this point. ( lots of rain, snow , sleet kinds of things right now! Darn) However, I will need to store the bike for the winter. What should I be doing? Have tried searching here for info - perhaps I did not use the right terms. Any help will be appreciated!

Try page 164 in your owners manual. Hopefully you got one being that you bought a used V. The section is tittled "storage", and is exactly what Kawasaki prescribes for the V's hibernation.
