Some time ago (September?) someone posted about a good set of 2 stands (red) from E-bay for about $100 delivered. I saved the link, but it has expired.
Anyone got an update for me (believe it was "PowerFreaks").
Thanks.

Try T-rex stands. Decent quality and cheap. http://www.t-rex-racing.com/

I got one of these from Harborfreight.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=99701

Works great and they have an adapter bracket for the front, but with shipping (no tax) works out at over $100.00 for two stands.

Went to the T-Rex site based on recommendations from the forum and they have NONE of their stands in stock. Not one. WTF?
Are they so good they cannot keep any in stock?
Not a great way to run a business. At the very least I would expect them to lie to me and tell me 4-6 weeks delivery time like every other business in the world.

Don't cheap out on stands. A motorcycle falling off a stand gets expensive. Do yourself a favor and get Pit Bull stands. I've never had or seen a motorcycle fall off one of those stands. They are SUPER stable and of the highest quality.

When you get a front stand, get the model that lifts via the steering head pin so you can remove your own wheels for tire changes or suspension work.

I got my Pit Bulls used and love em. Tend to agree... if they seem like backyard swing-set strength get something better.

That Harbor Freight one looks interesting but haven't had a chance to poke one in person to see what I think of it.
