Have an "excellent shape" exhaust can for this bike......I decided that I like the stock exhaust note {read quiet}. The Akra has a {removeable} spud to keep it quiet, and truth be known, is nearly as quiet as stock...nearly. Without it, it sounds awesome. I've had numerous other cans on other bikes I've owned, and truth be known this is by far the best quality pipe I've seen. Fitment is VERY close to the swingarm, to the point of minor {read thousanths of an inch} contact at full extension. You need to put a small spacer {supplied} under the lowest peg bracket bolt and turn the brake pivot pin around, so the cotter pin faces out. I took a chance when I ordered it because I thought the Ninja and Verys exhaust would be the same....but aren't. It looks fantastic, and I will probably miss it, but I have enough paperweights around as it is......first $200.00, shipped anywhere cont. U.S. Pics can be seen on the "other" versys web site, KLR650.NET., Versys discussion board. Look up "pics of my bike" under Bob B.

Would need money order sent and received then I'll send the pipe.......:)

You said the ninja versys can is different. Is it the way it works different or the fitment?

It works flat out fantastic, you can feel a definite set-of-the-pants improvement. The problem is with the fitment. The swingarms from the Ninja and the Versys are obviously different. As I stated in the post, there is little clearance between the 'arm and the muffler when installed. In Akrapovics defense, they do not list the Versys, only the Ninja. I took a chance since when doing research, thought initially that it was only a typo, since the V is so new. MOST other pipes you'll find the Versys and the Ninja take the same. I have it on the bike right now, and love the looks of it, performance increase {Akra says about 5-6 horsepower through the mid-range, and about 1 on top}, and weight savings. I tried to post pics, but my files are too large....

Been too long, changed my mind again. I'm not going to give it away guys. It's probably for the best anyway, 'cause I'd have to get something else because of the farkle bug.......

Hi,

I'm new here and saw your post... I'm wondering, are there headers you can get as well for the Versys? I'm going to sell my 06 KLR650 and get myself a V... just wondering about options? :)

Thanks!

since this thread is still open...i have an arrow ti which i like AND i see there is an arrow carbon fibre on ebay for a very decent price...has a dent?? I cant see it in the picture they provide so it looks decent for the price if anyone is in the market..and he won't ship to us in the frozen north so Americans only, by the looks of things (the huge lettering was my clue!)
