Just wanted to introduce myself...37 year old paramedic, not a Versys owner (yet!!). Been riding since 1990 but I've been "bikeless" for the past 4 years.
I saw the Versys in MotorCyclist last year and thought...what an awesome bike!! Please, feel free to tell me all about your bikes and the pros and cons of owning.

It's great to have you on the forum! Now if we could just figure out how to have somebody with your medical training follow us (well, at least those of us who seem to frequently require assistance!) while we ride, then everything would be perfect. ;)

I strongly encourage you to find a dealer who will let you spend some time sitting on - if not test riding - a Versys. I think that you'll find, as have so many of us, that it is just about the most comfortable and fun bike we've ever owned. I've had Harleys, sportbikes, metric cruisers, sport tourers and dualsports . . . and I would rather have the Versys than have any of them. Keep reading the reviews (including all of the impressions and experiences you'll find here on this forum) and considering how the Versys would work for you. And let us know what you decide!
