Kind of a long-shot here, but I have a 2006 Moto Guzzi Breva 1100 that I would like to trade for a Versys plus cash. I am in the Houston, TX area but am willing to travel to make the trade. Up to about 1,000 miles away, I could ride the Breva to you for the swap. Any further, and we would have to look at meeting in the middle.

Details about the Breva:
9,200 miles, factory luggage plus Givi topbox, Givi A770 windshield, Staintune muffler, Jet Hot coated headers and catalytic converter, Power Commander and O2 optimizer from GuzziTech (http://www.guzzitech.com/store/GT-02OPT.html). Going with the bike, I have 8 quarts of Redline synthetic 10W-60, 1 quart of Redline Shockproof gear oil, and the original muffler. Also included is the VDSTS software and cables to allow you to set the throttle position sensor.

Does the Guzzi have any scratches? Tire condition?

There are some scratches on each side of the tank. I had it propped up while it was off the bike during maintenance. It wasn't as steady as I though, and it fell and rolled over. See pictures for the damage. I haven't tried to do anything to clean up the marks, but anything you did to cover up the white of the scuffs would make things a lot less noticeable.

Tires are Michelin Pilot Roads. The rear tire was replaced last summer, about 1500 miles ago. The front tire is still original, still a little way from the wear bars, but I know many people would replace it just due to age. In fact, if I still have the bike in a month or two, I will probably go ahead and replace it. In the meantime, I have no concerns riding on it.

How much money are you going to include with the Guzzi for a Versys?:exactly:
The Guzzi is worth about $5,000 and a Versys, 2009 and newer, is worth that or more.:interesting:

Actually, from what I've read, value is closer to $6,000 even with the minor cosmetic flaws, and you can get the 2009 Versys for around $5,000 ;)

Actually, each of the mentioned bikes are worth whatever a buyer will pay!
Good luck in finding a buyer who places the same value on each bike as you!
Then you will have a mutually agreed upon transaction!

Well, I can't argue with that logic - that's how I acquired a 2000 ZRX 1100 for $1,900 and a 2003 ZRX 1200R for $1,700.
