I just got back from a trip down to Pfluerville near Austin from Dallas and I am VERY happy with the new highway pegs. It makes a world of difference when cruising and I'm a happy customer. I was hesitant to put them on at first because I didn't know if they would be in the way, but now that I've had this 450+ mile round trip, I'm a believer. I have the Roxy riser coming in today which will make it even better as it will put the bars up and further back for a more upright position. I'd recommend them highly.

I've posted the pegs earlier so if you want to have the info click on this post.

Just a note here. I got between 50 & 54 MPG running between 80 & 85 most of the way. I love that.

I was wondering how they worked out for you. I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

Good to hear Donald! Mine should be here by Saturday. :D

I'll give a ride report as well when time & weather permit.

Thanks,
Jim

I have on a occasion leaned my bike on the kick stand to spin it around and bent the kick stand. I have tried to remove the kick stand and the bolt just spins and the nut on the back side spins. Yes bear on a bicycle I used a wrench and a socket driver at the same time. Oh with the lock that can double as a foot peg bear why not put it on the passengers foot peg? Think about it, you will figure it out.
