DISCLAIMER: This is the North West 200 race - NOT Isle of Mann (my bad). That pesky rider out front in the second half with the white boots is John McGuinness. Multiple winner. The speed is in MPH.

Northwest 200. the NW200 and IOM are not the same race. IOM is the most well-known, but there are several "real roads" road races (http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/sport/sportresults/mcn/2009/february/16-22/feb1709-would-world-road-race-series-work/). Josh Hayes did the one in Macau for a few years.

Yup, there it is right on the heading (and I know the difference). :o My bad. I've been watching too many race vids lately. I'm hoping to go to either the TT or NW200 next year. Probably NW200, easier to get to.

At about 1:29 you see him hit 192 MPH on a road which looks about as wide as your driveway, passing people!

Stuart Easton hit 204 mph through the speed trap during practice this year.
Sadly, he was seriously injured later in the week.

watching this years TT coverage, and was suitably amazed that McGuinness completed a flying lap the TT Course (all 33.75miles) at an average speed of 131 MPH, yup that right average speed 131 on a road circuit :clap::clap::clap:
