There is a kit on Ebay right now. I have one and it is top quality and was about 100.00 with shipping included.

The item number is 270236321024

Yeah, I saw it, too. But mine is much more solid, and I think a better design, too. The reason is that in a nutshell, a one piece design is always mechanically sounder than a two piece design, such as the one you saw on eBay.
In a two piece design situation, the stress forces between two parts wear out the bearing of the shock absorber of suspension, which is never a good thing. Since my lowering kit is made out of one solid piece of metal, which by the way involves much more effort to make, it doesn’t affect the bearing.
Another and even more important problem with the two piece design is that it is not secured properly to the gull-wing swingarm frame of the suspension. Because of that, it gets pulled away from its resting position during rebound damping action, which is unacceptable, not to mention unsafe. In my design, I took it all under consideration by securing the kit to the existing tooling hole of the gull-wing. When you look at the photo of my kit, you can clearly see on the left side, a socket head cap screw that is used for that purpose. In fact, this screw is rated for 2.5 times the weight of the bike, or to be accurate 1028 Lbs (467 kg). On top of all that I added additional item, kick stand end foot. It is needed to put the bike back to correct standing angle.
Maybe I over-engineered it. What do you think?

No it doesn't get pulled away from it's resting position because the unit takes up all the space in the cutout area of the swingarm. It is machined on the inner surface to take advantage of the erregular surface on the inside of the swingarm recess. It is held in place by the shape of the recess in the swingarm. I was not too sure of the item but once I got it and took a good look it is a very nice design. Yours looks very good also but it is not as robust a looking where it mounts to the swingarm itself. Yours is a nicer design where the shock mounts and the other one looks like a better design where the adapter mounts to the swingarm. A perfect one would be a blend of yours and the one on ebay.

I will have to mod Sandras stand to accommadate the lower height and I wish the other kit had something for that problem but a small cut amd weld will do a good job of that.

I will see if I can get a decent picture of the inside adapter and putt a picture on here fro you to see what I mean.

Thank you for the help and offer. However I have the kit that you have and one other that I bought off the craigslist. I was not happy with either design and that is why I built mine.
I did it stricly for myself, but after posting pictures of it I was asked to build a couple for other bikers. You will not find it on E-bay. It is good to know that you like your E-bay purchase. That gives me an idea to copy the two piece design and sell it on E-bay. I think that $50.00 will be a fair price. What do you think?

If you could make the same product for $50 that I purchased on ebay it would be a great bargain and you would probably sell as many as you could make. I say go for it SG
