snarky

I'm a frequent lerker of this site, I would just like 'whoever' to know that the "Harley Davidson: No Cages" AD has forced me to block the forum sidebar Advertisements, and you might want to let whatever service serves the Ads know about it.
When your cursor crosses over the Harley Davidson ad, it pops up a flash window that gets bigger until you close it. It's pretty bad on a netbook, which is what I am browsing with. It blocks a significant portion of the screen, including the reply window. Whenever I go over to use the scrollbar, the friggin ad pops up, and I have to scroll up to close it, and whenever my cursor crosses the Ad again, it pops up again. Over and over and over again. Normally ads either stay in their space, or they stay closed after you close them the first time.
I just thought you would like to know this as I actually do click some of the Ads on this site about products and services that apply to me. Such as accessory, parts, or riding gear sites. That one has forced me to leave the page, download the ad-blocker extension, and selectively remove the sidebar ad space because it was interfering with my reading and operation of the website.
Just to be clear, it's not the Ad content, it's just the obnoxious manner in which the Ad content was attacking me.
