Wow. So much coolness. From the exhaust (6!) to the dash that looks like it's out of a spaceship.

What must that bike weigh? Sheesh. Awesome tech though.

It seems the same engineer who built the bike made that movie.
Boring, boring, boring.

Or maybe it's that I'm a third of the age of the target group for this bike. :D

Adaptive headlight is absolutely awesome.

2 wheel car.....

I hate that category of bikes, they are boring
If i have to travel with 2 square meters of glass ahead of me, better take my car(they are almost the same weight after all....lol)

And i also hate BWM bikers(Are they?), they are the same in all over the world, selfish, arrogant and morrons

I was as objective as i could :D

TopSpeed has the weight of the GT at 701 and the GTL at 766. The Concours is at 688 for the ABS version. But I think BMW usually publishes ready-to-ride weight ... but who knows. Lighter than a Goldwing. Still, it's a big bike. :)

Ouch... I'm a BMW rider. Never saw myself as selfish or arrogant... well, maybe arrogant :D, but I didn't need a BMW for that...

I like the bike, but my first love in Beemers will always be an R1200GS. :thumb:

Well, what's the world coming to when you can't reliably categorize someone? I mean really. Soon we'll all be judged by the content of our character or something.

I met a few BMW GS riders who were real gentleman and proper bikers.
Although, no one can deny that the brand attracts absolute idiots and posers (very similar to Apple brand).

I've owned 3 of them, including a '96 R11GS and a '02 K12RS. All were in mint condition and that's the problem. You end up fretting over the smallest thing knowing that the bill will really hurt. When the clutch replacement estimate came back on the GS at over $2,000 (with only 7K miles on the clock and a leaking seal), I knew I had to look elsewhere for something more reliable and carefree. When the BMW dealer said that they didn't want to work on my "old bikes," that sealed the deal.
I had been looking at the Versys on paper since '07 and it didn't disappoint when stacked against the others, so out went the beemers and in came the '10 V and I'll never look back.

Offcourse the major part of BMW bikes are great
I dont know in USA, but here in Europe there are some bikes that been bought by posers
One of them is R1200GS, which is a great bike
Offcourse they aren't all morons, but here in Greece i can say that they are the 90% of them
They see this bike as the SUV of 2 wheels, they dont even travel, only for downtown

Peace:thumb:

Lol... using the GS as JUST a downtown bike??? :eek:Horrible... Hell, when I had my R1100S I took it to the race track! Handled like a big cow, but took it anyway. Well, can't speak for all American Beemer riders, but me and my buds would even pull over to help out a broken down Harley. :)
