...is a pretty cool looking replacement for the..."tail" (for lack of a better term) that holds the license plate:

Thought it looked pretty cool, IMHO.

.....Yeah except it's designed for the HUGE Euro plates and not the small plates we use in this country.

Looks like it's designed to fit a variety of widths and sizes. My only contention with it is the price.

Yep, i posted the other day about that guy but I can't remember which forum. It's not important now. He has an oboy store that has a few other items for the V and frankly most of them look like they are well made. I quite like his stuff actually......

This is the same seller I bought my stainless steel radiator guard from. Nice products for sure!

That's a pretty nice looking radiator cover, to be sure. I for one would prefer something that matches the Passion Red of the bike, but that's just me :)

I almost had the inkling to powder coat it black until I took delivery last Friday and mounted it up. It looks impeccable in polished SS to me. But to each his-her own as they say...
I'll get some fresh pics on my website ASAP..

I bought a radiator guard through romatech. It is very well made and I bought it at a reasonable price. The only thing that you should be aware of though is the time it takes to receive the package in the states. I had to wait for a little over 1 month before it arrived. I found that a little strange and who knows what the real reason was. I contacted romatech and they told me in broken english that it had been shipped, so all I really could do was just wait. Otherwise, good stuff though.

MACKDADDY? Just wondering where you got the lic. plate holder? Really looks nice. And also secure. As I was installing my bag racks the other day and discovered that I had again been the victim of a lic. plate theif. The second time. I think there are a bunch of lazy butts to keep it polite around here that would rather take something instead of work for it.

:)I saw many ways to cover the radiator. But such a nice bike deserves some preening. Considering what a new radiator would cost and possible engine work - I opted for the shiney cover.:thumb:
