well i have been on an 06 caponord purchased new with 300 miles on it since 10/09. it now has 24960 miles. the bike has not missed a beat. mpg kinda suck @ about 40 but the comfort and power make up for it. it does eat rear brakes for snacks. i still think i'll get me a versys someday. i spent 3 weeks commuting 80 miles a day on a vstrom and will NOT be getting one of those.

Honestly, didn't know anything about this machine until your post, but it looks like a winner, at a reasonable price too. I would keep it for long distance touring, especially if you ride two up. Get the Versys for fun and commuting, and save the Aprilia for longer tours.

First I've seen of that bike, too. Sure is a looker.

I had a 03 Cap and loved it. Very few issues.
