Yup, read about that a while back. Seems like a smart move on their part, especially after they dumped Buell and Aprillia. Must have a little extra money floating around.

Definitely a good move by HD. Taking into consideration the traffic and the road conditions in India, where you cant go fast, HD will be a good choice there.
not to forget the noise factor in Indian roads, HD will definitely be a contributing factor too.
All the best to INDIA and HD.

i dont think a harley will last a week in India, there's a good reason they run small bikes over there. I watched a vid of a guy traveling on a ct90 and he was swerving and dodging all over the place! no real traffic signs or signal lights and hugely overcrowded. that ct90 was light and nimble, anything much bigger on those crappy roads and your in trouble..just my observation

dear god...
Hasn't India suffered enough producing the 1950's Royal Enfield Bullet for the last 60 years without having Harley Dinosaurs being assembled there as well?
at least the Enfield has significant, if not entire, manufacture there.
