I will be picking up my V tomorrow. The snow is finally gone! or at least the road are clear.:rolleyes:The forecast for the weekend is rain, which will give me an opportunity to install my accessories that I already have such as rear rack with Pelican case, KLR handguards, Dash clock and thermometer, GPS support.

Also was in Munich last week and stopped in Louis (www.louis.de), this is acandy store for grown ups. Leave your Visa at the door!!! Talked with one of the parts guy and he explained how to install protection for the engine without buying a hugger. Does not look as cool, but saves the $$$.

Well, did not get my V today. It seems the dealership has a broken lift and cannot get the bike ready. They called me an hour before I was to pick it up. Now I won't be able to go over there before next Tuesday and I was planning on putting the accessories on this week end.

Man am I pissed at these guys:mad: And to add insult to injury, it's sunny and warm out!!!

Sorry about the trials and tribulations; I know that sucks. But there is good news – this too shall pass.

Sounds like leverage for a store discount to me... :D

Finally got the V. Just rode it back from the dealer to my office. Man, was I tempted to get lost on the way back :rolleyes:

I suggest don't make any waves with that dealership if you have to deal with him later on. I know you're disappointed but it's only a few days; whereas I have to wait to afford one this fall or early next year. :eek:

Just be thankful that you're getting yours before me; that way you can tell me how cool the bike is for months!

Don't worry I'm a patient man and always take things in stride; remind me of this fact when things go wrong in my little corner of the world. ;)
