My riding boots simply don't fit the Versys shifter. Anyone know of a longer shift lever available with more room between the footpeg and shifter?

You do know its adjustable don't you? I can adjust mine from my touring boots to my motox boots eaisly. If you are talking about the length of the shifter post I have not heard of anyone getting an aftermarket shifter assembly with a longer post, but I am sure there is probably one out there somewhere. Get a folding one if you find one as the extra length will lead to a bent arm in any sort of left side accident.

The stock one will bend in a left sided accident anyway. Nothing a vice won't fix though.

Mine did seem short at first as well. I improved it a lot by straightening it out a bit, with a small block between it and the footpeg mount to avoid stressing its bushing. It also had to be adjusted higher.

You should try adjustable pegs. You can move them back to make room.

So an addiction will take care of a bent shifter lever? :D

I found out the hard way that the shifter does indeed bend if it goes over on the L/H side.
