:feedback:Well, I noticed today after washing the "V", I am leaking air at the coupling where the headers attach to the muffler. It seems, that the fit, was not exactly right. So as I tightened it while I put it on, the pipe crimped. There is a small "v" shaped space where air is escaping.
Is this a potential problem? Does anyone have any ideas how to remedy this?

You can take it to a muffler shop and have them patch the hole. I don't think a small exhaust leak will cause any real problems.

JB Weld it . It will outlive you and I .

The air injection system does the same thing just a little farther upstream so this is probably not an issue.
The fact that you received the same crappy clamp that I did is. TBR?
I ended up taking the mid pipe off and pounding it back into shape on an anvil then reinstalling it with a stainless T-strap. No leaks, no JB Weld, no problem.

Yes, TBR....but it sure does sound good.
Thanks for all of the ideas.
