: Oil level in site glass

I noticed that the oil level in my site glass, mid-way, stays constant if my engine is running at idle or stopped. I would think that when the engine is running the oil level would go down as it is circulating. Just wonder if this is normal or if anyone else had notice this.

I know its been a few days since you asked, but I finally remembered to go check mine. My oil level stays the same as well, however, if you watch closely as you rev the motor, you can see the oil being disturbed. It doesn't look like it's flowing, but it is.

Make sure the bike is vertical (and not on the side stand).
