I'm in Md. but I'm not too far to make a ride. What are we talking, and when is it happening?

Be honest with you I hadn't set a time or place yet. Just putting out feelers before reserving room at the local bbq joints.

I actually know a friggin sweet BBQ place (no joke... they smoke their ribs with apple slices in them!!! MMM!!!) off Rt.29 near Gainesville.

Maybe we could pick a weekend, meet there around lunchtime and have a good 4-5 hour ride to "work" off the BBQ.

I, or anyone familiar with the area, could plan a several hour route and have us all home by early evening. It may be good for newish riders to get out of town a bit and see some of the country roads and foods.

Looking at last half of October time frame...

If we get more interest, I'll generate more details...

Hey Carl,

Gainesville is very close to me so i'm in anytime you call the meet. You can also look for other BBQ places near Skyline Drive. Middle of October or anytime after that is good coz we're planning a ride to Niagara Falls Oct. 1st.
