I've got some friends that have just opened up Saddle Bags in Grandbury. Place to grab a BBQ sandwhich/hamburger or just hang out. Just a nice motorcycle stop. They haven't started advertising yet, awaiting their beer license. But we could stop by on the way out of Glen Rose for cold drink. It is off 377 just south of the city.

Done Deal. But the only time i was able to eat dessert i had to just eat a sandwich so i'd have room for the cobbler. My favorite meal is the 3 meat combo with sliced brisket,ham sausage and potato salad and fried okra. after that theres no room left.:cheers:

Those guys tried to make me a helluva deal. Only 7500 otd. pssh. I went over to Sammy White's and got the same bike for 5600 otd.

Someone mention free food/dessert even better...I'm just a short 1480 miles away...I can be there in 24 hours with a 15 min. break...it'll cost me about 80 bucks in fuel but for a free dessert? Sorry I missed it, maybe next year...looks like a fine group of geezers, I'd fit right in! Just finished a fine rib dinner myself tonight...burrrrp!:cheers::blah::blah:

Okra is a vegetable. Very popular in the southern states. Fried its just like eating popcorn mighty tasty and hard to stop eating. Stewed its kinda slimy it used in gumbos and such. Here in the south we have grits in the north its cream of wheat. Kinda similar but not close.:D I don't mind the burp at all its when someone sneezes with a mouth full of food that get me. Or should i say all over me.

The absolute worst/best has to be pork souvlaki with lots of tsziki sauce, or the Chinese food buffet (The Mandarin)....That'll make yur eyes water...and sends people runnin' for the hills...gotta like it:eek::clap:

Thanks for the info on the okra and grits....it's Thanksgiving up here in Can. this weekend...we have brown gravy with our turkey and mashed, sublime when done correctly! MMMMM turkey!

Looking good. Those soft bags you have in the first photo seem to fit better than any others i've seen. no sagging at all.

They are Nelson Rigg mini bags with the tail bag attached to them. They were high enough to rest against the grab bars, kept them well centered.
