That is my absolute favorite road up there. I will sometimes run it up and back a few times before moving on. Its great for practicing stuff. Damn that makes me want to ride! Versys Group ride this weekend anyone?

Bummer. Well I'll do my best to be up to Dales BP by 9:30am. Ive got to be back home by 1:00. That will give us a couple hours at least. Sharrison sounds like he/shes passing through anyways. Sound good?

Ha ha ha....sorry Sharrison. :D I have unfortunately had a mild back spasm today and am in some pain at this moment. I took some ibuprofen and am hoping it wont be an issue by Saturday morning. I'll let you guys know one way or another. So fun getting old!

No problem. I will plan on being there at 9:30 and will ride with any red Vs that show up. I know about the getting old thing. Had a little off a few weeks ago and still nursing a sore knee. This old body just doesn't heal the way it used to. Take care of your back!

Any thoughts on routes? 180 to 348? Just need to figure out how I am going to get to TN.

Sorry I flaked yesterday fellas. My bag that I stupidly left at Dales with my phone/wallet/house keys in it was right where I left it so that was good. I figured you guys shouldve been hitting Morganton by the time I got back to where we were when I realized I didnt have my bag. So I just rode over to 129 and headed back at that point. Hopefully well get another one in soon, and with dry roads even.

So how was the ride? Did you guys go to Tn?

The weather lloked bad to the west so we did a loop in Ga. ,N.C. and then onto Tn. Really had a nice ride. :thumb: Graham get better and then we will go riding. Dean wish you could have stayed and went with us. Steve thanks for hanging out with me. :yeahsmile:

It was definitely an awesome day. Mountainrider is a great guide! Wish antman325 could have stayed with us. Glad your backpack was still there. I posted a map of our ride.

I stopped by by Dale's BP and got to meet Bad-Tat. It was good meeting everyone!

Nice map. I had a good ride back to the house and it completed the loop. :D JC told Al today that when you ride with William that you do not need a GPS just try and remember where in the hell you are.

Yes I was. Had to get home so I left my riding partners and headed out. I seen the Versys but just could not hang around. I have two grandsons that live with me and I try and hang with them ,I thought I would be a free man by now. We just do what we have to do. :thumb:

I was riding with an FZ1, Bandit and SV650. (guys off GSB and BSB).
60 was a great road before, but now that its re-paved HOLY SH*T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
