Picked up a modular at Gander Mountain today. Taiwan made "Raider" brand. It was 25% of original $139.99 GM price (MSRP was 149.95). Not sure all GM stores have the same deal but worth checking out if you are near one. Helmet is a good fit for my round head, which is hard to find. Just by looks the quality appears at about HJC level. It is DOT rated. Has a fancy paint job, (plain white would have been better for me) red, white and silver. Will go ok with my '08 red rocket Versys (the FASTEST color).

I wouldn't really call that a great deal. Scorpion makes DOT/Snell helmets that can be had for about $100.

WOW, I thought $35 was pretty good for a modular?? Guess I am really dumb?? And, there are tons of $100 helmets available!!!

Have not ridden with it yet, so no idea. The only modular I have owned before was a bit louder than the full face ones I have had. No pics yet but I'll bet there are Raider pics on the net.
