The temp warning light comes on after about a minute or so, and will not go off. I have replaced the sensor in the head, checked the fuse, and checked the coolant level. Maybe air in the cooling system? I do not believe the bike is overheating, because nothing is coming out the overflow, and the fan seems to be working normally. Thanks in advance for any insight.

You may be on the right track with air in the system.

Air lock in a cooling system driven by Pump is very rare, check wiring and see that all in place and secured. Lose contact are often the culprit.

Do a manual check on the sensor and check for proper function.

:goodluck:

Thanks guys. I will check the contact, check for air in the system and also look into a stuck thermostat.

Take a REALLY good look at the ground connections.

If you kill the engine, and start it right away, does it take still a minute for the temp light to come on, or is it on right from the start ?

If on right from the second start, probably not a wiring problem

More a temp prob problem or really an overheating engine (from one of the reason mentioned in one of the previous thread)
