Question gearing up

I am thinking about gearing up by putting a one tooth larger sprocket in the front. Is there any way to recalibrate your speedo to compensate for the different gearing?

Actually, as others will attest, your speedo will be closer than before! Almost right on.

my bike is a gen3 2015, after I took off the sprocket cover it looks like it is so tight I am not sure a one tooth larger sprocket will even fit. Has anyone tried it and made it work?

Yep, just changed to a 16 tooth recently on my Gen 3 2016. Good mod..

There certainly would not be room for a 17 tooth!

Any chance of a link to the sprocket you bought?

Skip - I believe it WILL fit, but you might NOT like it riding dirt....

Thanks Eddie, I think I will try it and see, if it doesn't workout I can always go back.
