Yes, try clicking active topics then log in, if invalid redirect appears, click back , you will notice "log out" is active.
I have contacted admin several times, I have windows 10 and windows 7 computers, Firefox, Chrome and Edge. All three operating systems and two computers get unresponsive script message when I try to quote, this could easily be a bad add on the site targeting my area. It has been implied that it is my two computers and operating systems.Started in July just after the new sign in password change.I have had a third person try from a different location, different IP address and same problem.
So I have a fix for Firefox users
. First turn off / uncheck,Hardware acceleration
I tried changing the integer to 20 from 10 on dom.max_script_run_time this made almost no difference. What I found is when the window pops up script busy, just close the pop up, do not click on anything . This allows a quote in about 20 to 30 seconds
Rather than start a new thread, I thought to quote myself, as the problem was never fixed, and this was before I became a mod.
What I have found, and my work around, problems on windows 10 only exist on Mozilla, Chrome login is fine. Windows 7 problems exist on both Chrome and Mozilla
, load the site, once loaded click either active topics or New Posts, wait until the adds load in the right side bar and also the last to load is on top. If you have saved your login info on your computer , once the top add loads, you can then log in.
If you get invalid user or password and you have used 1 of 5 tries, notice Forum Jump, click on that scroll down to active topics or who’s online, click GO, your login info will come up, click login
Basically the same, click Active topics or New Posts, wait until the top add loads, then login. If using Chrome invalid redirect pops up; if you click arrow back, click active topics, you will notice you are already logged in.
I am posting this simply to help others, I have absolutely no patience to personally go at this again, and yes I have had others PM / email me of password login failure, shouldn't be and obviously the operating system has a bearing on this, however it didn't exist in January 2016.
