versus 1000 forum

It's frustrating to do a search and read page after page, only to realize the results were for a 650 versys. How difficult would it be to have a dedicated V1000 forum, to catch the V1000 particular questions and answers.

yea, I'm on that forum already...mostly international. This forum is mainly US, lot's of traffic, good info mostly if it applies. The US V1000 is new and not supported on this site. too bad, as this site could grow as the V1000 becomes more popular.
my2wheels, do you think I am wrong in requesting a seperate forum for V1000's ?

It IS supported on this site. As you said, it's relatively new in the us, and this site has mostly US traffic ( it seems anyway).

Few owners on here have one and comment on them. Seems Bikes get a lot of lip service when things go bad, as such I guess that the V1000, being a fairly reliable bike will be a tad slower to develop a large online following over here, not that it's a poor seller, but because people are simply riding them and enjoying them and not really trying to get online and figure them out.

I personally think a sub forum for the v1000 would be fine, who knows?

If there is enough interest in opening up a V1000 sub forum on the site, I can talk to the mods about it.

How do you guys feel about this?
Does this warrant a sub forum?

Richard.

is there a difference between the 1000 and the 650? If both are the same, there is no need for a separate forum.

The 1000 is much more of a large tourer. The reviews look good. Might be less agile. Heavier, lower MPG. Getting into a different kind of bike and riding and price.
