Kawasaki c10 Concours street fighter

When I bought my new versys 650lt I had every intention of selling my old bike that I bought new in 2001(Kawasaki c10 Concours) but no one wanted to give me anything for it, so I decided to keep it and make a naked street fighter out of it. Lots of weight stripped off but still a work in progress. Its still a pig but hoping to get it under 600#.

Good luck. I really liked my 97 Connie, just got tired of the weight.

Here you go, street fighter and state of the art, side by side. if you want to skip the video, drop in around the 10:30 mark. Steve

Thanks for sharing, both nice looking bikes. I have always been in awe of your talents. You did the carbs on my Concours and it has never run better.

If you really want to go streetfighter, get an eliminator zl1000 bevel drive and install it. it will add 8% more gearing - each gear will go 8% less top speed. you'll get out of the hole and accellerate faster. couple that with a set od zx1000 cams and carbs, and you'll add about 13-14 hp. BTDT, the gearing will get the heavy bike moving, the cams and carbs make it faster and pull higher rpm. Now you're getting somewhere. Steve
