V parts used for custom Triumph

Not sure why the V swingarm is mounted upside down, perhaps to accommodate the frame. Also uses Versys fork and suspension.

makes a great photo, but you're not going to ride it far.

Versys swingarm flipped because that is the only way they could mount a chain for the photo using that specific swingarm. maybe it's some sort of advertising prop.

Reinforcing 101

reinforcing , the upper brace on the Versys swing arm is to counteract upward force, by pushing. Turn it upside down , the swing arm will fail dead center between the reinforcing points. It is like taking a cantilever bridge and building upside down, won't work very well.https://www.google.ca/search?q=canti...Ftq5WHpSC6M%3A

Not that I don't believe you, but can you expand upon that?

moot, because the chain is going to saw it in half, but even that doesn't matter because the exhaust is going to set your gear on fire in the first 100m. nice concept though.

I shuddered at the unshielded exhausts too

Although I have had Miss Jaffa (Burnt Orange 2007 Versys) for a while, I still have a lot to learn.
