Honda Interceptor

My favorite motorcycle from the 80's is a Yamaha RZ350. My 2nd fav is a Honda Interceptor. I wish I owned one at one time, I never did. I liked those Honda V4's. The Sabre was fine, but the Magnas were pretty much horrible looking motorcycles.
I saw an Interceptor on a trailer today in a parking lot. Looks like someone got it as a restoration project. It looked complete, but needed a whole lot of work if that's why he bought it. If I had the time and space to restore a bike, that'd be high on my list!

I had an 86' 750 Sabre for a while. I bought it off a guy who laid it down. Fixed it up and rode it for about 6 months. Decided that I had better get rid of it before I killed myself. Very fast bike..........

I sure do miss my 87 700. Cleanest VFR I've ever seen. Would love to buy it back someday.

The one I saw on the trailer was a red, white and blue '82. I saw the sticker on the frame.

I had a 1996 Honda VFR700 Interceptor. Great bike, I'm still not sure why I sold it. I traveled all over with it, and even did an Iron Butt on it.

I had 2 RZ's with your color scheme and one red, white and blue Kenny scheme. One like yours, I had Toomeys, ported/polished, etc. So awesome! And I also had a Daytona Special. That is the one I was stupid to part with. Dang.

Here is a photo of a photo of the RZ with Toomeys and a red chain: https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...21625105_o.jpg

I should also mention, that the paint was all professionally done including the YPVS sticker was airbrushed from a stencil that the painter made. The blue sticker stripe, was actually paint and not a sticker. It looked great.

I had a 93 vfr 750 before I got the Versys. I really loved that bike especially in the pearl white. It ran beautifully when I road it straight down to Franklin NC for a VFR get together. I had a '84VFR 500 back in '95. It was a great little bike also.
