New Members READ This 2 posts and 48 hours!

Once you join the forum, you must post twice in Member Introductions and wait 48 hours after your 2nd post before you can post into the other sections of the forums.

This was done in order to combat spammers.

Thanks!

P.S. The registration email for new members was updated to reflect this.

ABR, since we instituted the 2 posts and 48 hour rule spam has been reduced from 3-6 posts a day to 3-6 posts every 90 days. In addition all spam that has been posted has been in the new member area, not buried within the regular part of the forum.

You're welcome. If you need any help, gimme a holler, either here or through PM. And just in case, to send a member a PM, simply click on his username. A drop down menu will appear. Click 'send PM', and type away. (PM stands for Private Message. I'm not being a smarty, I didn't know that when I first started posting on the web)

I'm new to Forums and new to ridding. Just bought a 2008 Versys with 49,000 miles on it! Yikes! It seems to be in good running shape... Time will tell. Glad to be here and looking forward to learning and enjoying the Versys!

Okay. So I rode my "new to me" Versys about 20 miles to get home form where I bought it. I parked it in the garage and immediately started tinkering. Replaced the oil and oil filter, coolant, air filter (cleaned out the air box full of oily gunk!), and put everything back together. Took it out for my second ride of about 25 miles.... AWESOME! Although, it looks like there is very small oil leak :/. Second post!!

Red face Versys owner - Colombia

Hello everybody.

I'm from Colombia and I've been a Versys owner from 2014, I just moved to a Versys -650 cc 2015. I really like and enjoy this bike, I'm preparing myself for a long trip so its great to find a forum like this. I hope to learn lot of things about this wonderful machine.

Saludos,

Just joined this forum so that when I'm not riding my Versys, I can at least talk to other Versys owners about riding such a fun bike. Cheah!

Hello, I am a newbie in motorcycling, but am fond of the possibility to ride my black Kawasaki Versys 2010 to my work place. It's very comfortable but wondering because there are vibrations at 4000-5000 rpm. The motorcycle is second hand. Is it normal or how to avoid them?
