If you bought a vaquero, you are on the wrong forum. Check out www.vulcanbaggers.com

If you meant Versys, how about sharing which Versys you bought and where the burning smell is coming from? Might want to stop by the dealer and have them check it out. That is what the warranty is for.

The big Vulcans (especially the 1700's) are a huge heat maker.................

I admit that the only time I experienced serious 'smell burn' was the afternoon after a Corporate Challenge "Chipotle All You Can Eat For The Starving Children of Ethiopia!"

The afternoon afterward was a thing of nightmares and burnt plumbing.
