Thanks, looks like I will buying a 17. Dealer says there are none at the warehouse in Dallas. Guess I will wait. Forgot how bikes dont get shipped out like new cars do, they try and get rid of the leftovers first.
previous bikes,
2005 SV650S
2007 R1
2009 Vulcan 900 LT
2015 Can AM Spyder RT
The only differences for 2017 is gear indicator, rim tape, and color options. I went to the IMS show in Dallas last week and both color were there in the 650's. The black color is different from the 2016 matte black. I like it much better as it's a pearl black. The raw titanium has been used on the 1000 versys in the past. Dealers in Dallas are just starting to get them here and there and just remember you will most likely be paying full retail $8999 plus TTL, dealer prep, etc. You will end up at around $10,000. Personally that's alot for a 650LT. It's your money but you can still get new 2015's and 2016's for $7000 all around the country and get it shipped to your house for $400 bucks and add the rim tape and gear indicator later or do what I did and buy a 2015 in mint condition with 2k miles for $6000. I felt that was really a great deal. Every dealer in Dallas has plenty of 2016's they are dealing on. Good luck.
WELCOME
I was able to find a used 2016 LT with only 1700 miles for $6K plus sales tax...
Good luck
