you will either grow to love the uniqueness of the 1st generation Versys, or you can spend money changing the looks, or you can trade for a bike you enjoy looking at.
Do a search for Versys street fighter to see what others have done.
To change front headlight you also need to change side tank panels, maybe even the tank due to panel mounts. The headlight support frame might also need changing as it has different mounts for lights, panels and windsheild. right side support next to tank/ coolant overflow might be different.
I cannot be sure.
I have taken the front of my 2012 bike apart. I have not seen earlier model front end.
Pretty sure the front frame support on the steering head is the same. Lter front fram might just bolt on.... noby has done it... easier to trade up to Mk2 version
Thanks guys for the help, im will post some pics in april when im back with my motorbike. (i bought it but it stays in my uncles house, Who lives 1000 km away :/)
BTW. Adding some lipstick to the headlight sounds cool
Thats a good question, im live in Poland and here are much thinks not described in the law. But the Police officers are dumb in Poland so i will risk it
Replacing a lot of components sounds like a chunk of money...
How about adding some side driving/fog lights to the side of the front fairing to change up the looks?
Just a thought...I have a 2014 and do not mind the looks.
