Saw a 2012 in Cherokee late Friday afternoon and about 2 minutes later saw an 08! I don't think the 2012 guy realized mine was a V but the 08 guy and I waved and acknowledged our bikes immediately. I wanted to turn around but was wanting to get to the campground before dark.

I've seen this yellow Versys several times near the grocery store in my neighborhood, but I've never seen the owner. Spotted in the Fry's parking lot on the north side of the Ray/Rural intersection in Tempe, AZ.

That one belongs to mz33....if you would have been there a few minutes earlier, you would have seen mine there as well.

Black 2012 in Columbus Indiana north bound on Central Avenue at about 1:45pm.

If that was you send me a PM. I'm in Columbus.

May the road always curve in front of you.

My friend has just ridden half way across the country, over the inter island ferry and just arrived home to show me his new Versys. I dont get to see many V down my way so this does count as a sighting haha.

I don't mean to be petulant, but how far is "half way across the country?"

I am glad that there is at least one new Versys in your country.

Haha, yep good point, since Texas is a lot bigger than my country it is about a 500 km or 300 miles road trip with a 3 hr inter island ferry crossing so not a big deal for Texans but for us little hobbits it is huge to be out of the shire.

Looked up New Mexico, 121,589 square miles, NZ 103,483 square miles, Colorado 104,185 square miles.

Spotted a 2011 in Raleigh Saturday afternoon. Wasn't on my V though....having to deliver a bunk bed to GF's house.

That is awesome! We have a few covered bridges around, but nowhere near that long!

Same here. Only addition, was my research. I was wanting something FUN to get me past the boring cruiser. I had ridden them my entire life. I started searching for "Fun Motorcycle". The Versys kept popping up so I looked here at our forum. Again, everywhere I turned, I saw "fun". The test ride sold it.

I did my research and bought one site-unseen and drove halfway down Florida to pick it up... never saw one in the flesh. Never regretted my choice.

Work sent me to Hawaii this week, it's rough duty let me tell you!

I may have accidentally rented an F800GS, which I'm loving, but not as much as my Versys, because, we'll, it's mine!

Anyway, I saw a blue one near north shore on kamehameha hwy twice, once when he passed me while I was taking a break, and once going the other way looking for some shrimp

Great weather in the Bay Area today and I saw not one but TWO V's

One was a 2012 yellow one parked at Road Rider, and the other was a red 2011 on Blossom Hill Road near my house.

I think they're catching on!

Lugoff SC

02/24 Sunday afternoon passing through Lugoff SC, passed a Yellow/Black Versys on US 601.

After 69,000 miles of riding my Versys, I've still only seen a handfull on the road.
