yes of course how silly I should have thought of that. I did spot an orange one with hard luggage going through Motueka day before yesterday I waved but did not get the wave returned. Maybe orange and red don't clash!

This was my only sighting.

I was riding my blue home from work and was approaching a light and noticed a motorcycle waiting. As I closed in, I saw a familiar fender and realized it was a green one. So I slowly pulled up next to him. He looked over at me and shouted, "No way!"

I of course had to respond, "Way!"

This is in a city with 4.5 million citizens. He said his ID on the forums was Canada, but I haven't seen him here or on the Kawasaki forum. Followed him for a mile and he turned right and I drove on home. There are quite a few Vs in Atalnta (and on this forum), but haven't seen them on the road.

Yes hardware the public will have access to all these tests including the results that orange and maybe red is faster but not until the kennedy assassination files come out but may be able to dig out files out in NZ as we had pre prepared press release of assassination before anyone else.

Saw a red one on Redland Rd today. I think I saw you about a week ago on my street, Norman rd. There is a green one in my garage.

Black & Blue with some green and a little bit of red on the side sounds almost like some fatal disease. Maybe we could call it the Versys syndrome.

I saw a '10 just like mine today in Georgetown, TX while I was having lunch at Dos Salsas Cafe‎ at Hwy 29 and S. Main street. I don't think he saw my bike in the parking lot but his riding buddy looked right at me and was riding what was most likely a BMW. I was surprised to see another Versys let alone one of the same rare year as mine.

I finally saw one on the road. It was on the North Cascades Highway (Hiwy 20) in N. WA (a beautiful winding road and very fitting foe a Versys). It was Black and in a cluster of other Adventure bikes. Looked like it fit right in.

I spotted a green 09 yesterday near South Park, PA. I believe it was on Gill Hall Rd.

This is my first post to this sight but I've been watching for a few weeks now and boy have I been bit by the "V" bug. Saw a red one on the way home last evening (north Atlanta suburbs). I will have one of these bikes soon.

Welcome to the site! Do you have a preference for an older pre-2010 model or do you want the new and improved '10 Versys? There are some differences and that's why I paid more for a '10. It's been a great bike so far and is only a month old and has around 1050 miles already. You will find tons of info on this site so stay tuned!

Thanks. Have seen some great deals on new '09's so that definitely has my interest. Need to look at the '10 model closer and determine whether or not to reach for extra $'s. This will probably be an addition to three bikes in the garage already.
Do you think ABS will be offered on the next model year? I see where this is an option on the European models.

It was raining (a bit heavy) this morning and I saw a 2010 V chasing a BMW (seemed like the F650 on Hwy 99 in Vancouver. There were a few more bikes 500-700m behind them. It seemed one large group of riders since all of them had tons of luggage and were going crazy fast. It was a bit scary actually - because of the rain. I think they were headed towards the border for the long weekend. I was of course in my car as I am still bike less ... the 3 year drought must end very soon.
