A couple of days ago I decided to head out and put some miles on BIG RED, so I headed N to the Apache Trail (AZ 88), taking a few pics of the Superstition Mountains near the start of 88.
As you can see - it was a bit cloudy.... So I continued, rode about 6 miles past Tortilla Flat to the start of the dirt, then another mile on the dirt (checking IF it was gonna be a problem on the planned ride tomorrow, w/ a few of the Forum's 'inmates'), but it was fine (it had rained some, overnight).
Turned back to the W, just in time to catch the sun highlighting a ridge, way out there,
then continued riding W on 88, stopping at Canyon Lake for a few
then stopped near the Lost Dutchman State Park to get a shot of the Superstitions, NOW w/ sunshine.
Good way to put about 160 miles onto the bike on an "average" day....
