Looks like you're doing some surgery on the front end, or just decided to de-beak your zombie ride??

I built a mount for the GPS up under the windshield, but it vibrated way too much - crappy design on my part. On to round 2,and it looks like rain this weekend so good weekend to spend in the shop.

Love the mounts, I can see you cutting through Tempe with a big grin as the citizens freak out....

Thanks! I do t see my self using the side arm mount most days so I'll prob take that off and save for very particular environments.

Yea I took all my silver plastics off to get them painted but I think I'm gonna hold off till the summer time. Just haven't taken the the time to put them back on. Beak is definitely going back on

lol I haven't seen any dirty looks yet but I'm sure I've gotten some. Got a few thumbs up at a red light though. Can't wait to bring it shooting again. It's so nice not having to drive my truck. Fun stuff.

Looking forward to seeing the end result of that mount!

Been doing a lot of dirt lately, last weekend was 7 springs/Carefree to I17 on Bloody Basin Rd - about 60 miles of gravel, mostly level 1 & 2, but still lots of fun. Swapped out to the same rubber you and others have and really liking the traction. Hit me up if you want to ride some time.

That's awesome. I dig the dirt and love my tire set up. Love the rugged look too. Level 1-2 is probably where I'd like to keep it. I'll be hitting you up soon. Got any new pics of your ride?

No pics, nothing much changed. Thinking about a couple small mods, like raising the ft fender and building some form of tail rack but this is nearly prime riding season, so really enjoying the weather. Mods, other than the GPS mount, likely to wait until 100+ degrees. Really getting ready to do the JDRocks mods, have the forks and R1 rear shock, got a bearing this week, working on finding a local machine shop to do the shock.... not zombie apocalypse style, but more on the suspension and survivability in the boonies.

If you're into it, I17 to Bloody Basin to Sheep Bridge and back through 7 springs is a really cool day ride, all in about 80-90 miles of gravel and level 1-2 with the occasional short 3 in washes or parts ripped up by 4x4s. Might be doing that ride towards the end of the month or in March with a KLR buddy as an overnight camp trip, you'd be welcome to join for sure, as would any of the local guys reading this.

Stay tuned, will probably post invite in 'member rides'.

My most up to date set up. I think the dash area is pretty much where I want it. Maybe I'll get some different levers and a tinted shield eventually. Feels good to have all the little goodies I've always wanted to have on a bike. Loving my V. Next up, paint the silver crap.

If you find a decent thermometer please post. The last one I had broke. About the only time I find a gear indicator would be useful, at least for myself, is when I'm on the highway and I'm not sure I'm in 6th or 5th or the bike is stopped and you need a reminder it is not in 1st.

Sorry, spaced on the gear indicator feedback. It does not work when the clutch is pulled in so it will only tell you the gear you're in when the tranny is in use and the clutch is released. I'm really glad I bought it. I tend to appreciate it when in 2-3 or 5-6 gears. A really quick glance let's me know as long as I don't have super bright direct sunlight on it. For the few bucks it was a great buy.

Would love to see you review the Koso grips. Also how are and where on the bar are you attaching RAM X mount. I have mine attached to GPS plate in center and while it works great it blocks instruments. May move it.

Thanks. Will do soon.
Here's a few pics. It doesn't get in my way most times. I might have to posture up an inch or so here and there to see my neutral light but the gear indicator is there too so not a biggie. Also if I'm not charging my phone it's definitely out the way.
