A quick ride up to Mt Baker last Thursday. They were brushing sand off the main road and there were some scattered areas of sand on the road surface. The road to Artist Point is closed, the barrier is under snow. Kind of gray but the cloud level was high. Here is the photo report...
hopefully this will be the year I get up there and do the loop around Mt. Baker...we're still waiting for the snow to melt on some roads down here in Oregon too...I think we got spoiled last year when everything opened up soo early...
The second picture of the road blocked by snow looks very familiar. I was lucky enough to visit Mt. Rainier on a business trip to Yakima a couple years ago and found a few dead ends like that. Great part of the world for two wheeling. Lucky stiff...
