Will need a service due to mileage (as all shock/forks do) or because of another issue (weeping, leakage, other)?

Keep it rubber side down and enjoy the ride

There are no leaks or any issue. The shock has seen ~19K miles and 2+ years. A well serviced shock performs much better.

An oil change and recharge with new seals would be within $100-$125. No need to go to any dedicated suspension shop. I usually do it myself and take it a shop to recharge nitrogen.

How about $350 shipped. I can get a brand new one for $575 shipped from STG and checked with my suspension guy and it will run about $150 for a service.
