We had a wonderful weekend here in SW Virginia. Temps in the low 70's. Took out the V for some good mid-winter riding. We have been fortunate to have had no snow yet this year so no salt on the roads yet!

Glad you had a good ride Deb. (I spent the last couple of days installing a "Fuzeblock FZ-1" to clean up my wiring, and removed my H-B crash-bars to install S-W Motech crash-bars and skid-plate. SHOULD get a ride in this afternoon once I put all the 'plastic' back on.)

After a nice warm weekend, 60+ both days but raining on Sunday, we're back in the 30s for highs and 20s for lows.

I can't wait for spring. I won't ride here in this weather NOT because of cold BUT the fear of Black Ice stops me every time!

Or was that look THEN leap?

Holy S#$@! It warmed up to 52 and I got a 90 mile ride in!

Got some fresh fuel and it was so nice! Took a ride by the river and it was all iced up!

It was so good to get out!

22f here on Saturday, but the sun was out and my V was calling to me. Strapped on all my winter gear and went out for over an hour.

Ahhhhhh... two wheel therapy I had missed you.

May the road always curve in front of you.

I sneaked another winter ride today, if you can call it "winter", it felt more like spring.
44 when I left the house this morning and 54 coming home. Very comfortable both ways.
Just a reminder for those who winter ride in the snow belt and all points north, pay particular attention to the condition of the roadway and take it easy on corners and intersections. Lots of cinders, salt and other junk on the roads this time of year.

+1 That is some great warnings for winter riding and second that idea!

Sand and gravel at the intersections are killer and will dump you bam!

Its cold here again, but man its nice to get a ride in! Good for you enjoy!

Ya gotta love Ohio weather. We get all 4 seasons in 24 hours! I woke to 65 deg weather today. and it rained almost all day and the temp dropped like a stone. They're calling for snow tomorrow.

After my last ride a couple of weeks ago it took close to four hours to get the bike salt free, and I only rode for a couple hours. So today I said NOPE I take the car, the ride can wait a bit more.

Or was that look THEN leap?

Its a little colder today, but man it has been nice!

Went for a ride yesterday!

Down side... not much snow in the mountains!

Its going to be the spring snows that save the fish this year.

Harder than me...

I was down in Dayton yesterday and it was a raw day, cold & damp, one that cut right through you. I was north bound on I-675 on the way home and here comes a bike! WAIT it was a POLICEMAN! I thought they park their bikes when it got this nasty, 17 degs!

At least I'm not in New England.
