Seat Concepts tall version

Am I imagining that they used to have a tall version? Thought I had one on my 09 but don't see it offered now.

Also, did their prices go way up? I have had many of their seats but didn't remember them being $200+ for just a foam and cover. Might just look for a used version of another brand at that price and then sell my stock seat.

I'm headed out there this Tuesday to have my seat redone. It's only $180 if you pay cash. It's more if you have to pay shipping and tax. That will cost you about $250.00. That's still a lot cheaper than some other companies or brands. I have heard a lot of good things from local shops in the area. I will provide a review after a few weeks of riding around.

I was happy with the one I had on my 09. Looks like I would be about $215 shipped for a piece of foam and cover this time. I thought it was much cheaper last time but that was before pot was legal up here so who knows.

If I picked up a used Baldwin or Corbin and sold my stock seat the price wouldn't be all that different so it might be time to try one of those.

I've written to them and they don't have a "tall" version

But some member who have done the move have said that the seat feels taller, but not by many inches ...

I must be thinking of my DR. I know I have the tall version of their seat on that bike. Makes a huge difference on the DR.

I don't know what this size is . .... https://seat-concepts.myshopify.com/...-kle650-versys

but this one is listed as its `low` model ... https://seat-concepts.myshopify.com/...650-versys-low

both are around $175 to $185 ... plus shipping ... that's the lowest price I have found so far.

And as I flipped into 6th, I could not remember a damn thing she said ....
