It's not unusual to wear the left side more than the right when you drive on the right and and I would imagine, vise versa in the UK. Longer left hand turns at intersections than rights, and climbing up a crowned road. Also we tend to push faster in left hand sweepers than rights because we have a clearer view of the road and we travel a further distance being on the outside.
