Ended up not going. My buddy's rear caliper died a horrible death on the Thursday night before the ride and so we spent time fixing that and didn't get it done in time.

Lightbulb Loop Ride Sedalia to Monument and Back

I may be in the Englewood area on the 18th and will have a couple of hours for a ride. I was thinking about a loop from Sedalia to Monument and back via CO 105, 83 and Lake Gulch Rd. It is 66 miles from start to finish and should take less than 2 hours which is all the time I probably have. Here's a link to a map of the route.

What do you think?

Will be in NM on the 19th-20th and then I will be heading north on 149 from South Fork on the 21st to the Black Canyon area. After that I might ride up 92 to Hotchkiss and up 133 to Carbondale and over Independence Pass. Don't have any definite plans and it might be determined on how hot it is. I have no problem with parking my butt on top of Grand Mesa just to stay cool. Will end up camping at Ouray KOA on the 23rd-25th. Will do some loop rides out of there Friday and Saturday.

Let me know if anyone wants to meet up. Wish I could do that loop with ya Cojacket.

Are the rides ever long enough?

I'll try to take some photos.
