2015 Versys Madstad Windshield system now available!

The Madstad adjustable windshield is finally available for the new generation 2015 Versys!

Our brackets bolt directly to the stock mounts and eliminate the ugly knobs on the front of the shield while allowing you to simultaneously control both height AND angle.

This fits both the 650 and the 1000 Model Versys, and there are no clearance issues with the OEM handguards.

The stock shield will not work with our brackets. (Why would you want to use it anyways!)

Excellent! Had one of your screens on my Tiger 1050 and was looking forward to one on the new Versys.

I don't see any info on your website though...

We are working on getting a new product page up for it. We can still set you up for one if you email us or give us a call.

Can you post or PM the price and any other pictures? It's tough to see in your pics, but it looks like it's a 2-shield system kind of like the Tiger's?

I sent them a email last night for pricing and more info. I will post their response here, unless they respond to the forum first. This OEM shield is junk. I can't stand it anymore.

Damn it!

I should have checked for new posts this morning. I just bought the Puig touring screen in dark smoke from MotovationUSA. I had emailed Puig about the availability of this screen and they referred me to the Motivation site. I had a Madstad shield for my KLR and loved it. Oh well.

The kit price starts at 219.95 for an 16" clear windshield. Add 10 dollars for every jump in size and/or for the addition of color/tint.

16" for riders under 5' 8"
18" shield for riders 5'-8" to 6'
20" shield for riders 6' - 6' 3"
22" shield for riders 6' 4" and up

These brackets require no modification to the bike, they simply bolt into the OEM windshield tracks. We provide all new hardware, and you completely remove the OEM screen and knob/slider assembly.

Since we spaced the shield forward a bit, we were able to keep a wider profile without running into clearance issues with the OEM hand-guards.

The brackets have a 2" adjustable height range, and 15 degrees of adjustment forward and back (angle)

What is your email, and which address did you send it to?

If you received no response, either PM me with your email or Email Sean@madstad.com and he will get you set up for an order.

They sent me an email last week with an order form. As of today, I see nothing on their webpage for the 2015 1000.

They also told me they were moving their shop starting midweek this week. It should take about a week and a half. If I ordered in that time, the turn around would take about a week and a half, so I am waiting until they are more situated.

I also didn't like the email attachment they sent me for ordering because it was not secure. They did say I could order on the phone.

I will wait and do it at their site when it is up.

Bump.

Nothing new on this?

I don't see it (yet) on the MadStad Website.

No matter where you go - there you are.

Checked site again today. No changes. I also emailed a few times and still have gotten no answers. They were supposed to be back in production as of the 14th.

I'm sorry for the delay, our move from one facility to another has taken longer than expected. As of tomorrow we will be fully back in action and will begin responding to those of you who have sent emails. Thank you for your patience. - MadStad

Doesn't seem like they are too reliable. If purchasing, I would question, would anyone be around to help with an issue? I've gone back to 2014 in reviews for their products and found people complaining about not getting calls or emails answered.
