My GPS mounted on stud ball. Removed one handle bar hold down clamp and replaced with stud ball. GPS mounts perfectly!

I have an old beat up one. Maybe I'll start wearing it to see I I want to buy a newer one. They are pretty damn convenient.

I wear my brother's LS2 modular but I find it to be rather heavy... Any suggestions on a light weight modular which won't break the bank?

Not sure. Haven't shopped for one in awhile.

Check out a Nolan N90 or newer N91. I had a N90 then went with the N104 the 104 is bigger and bulkier though...

I've had other heated grips but the are the best of the bunch. Work awesome and are super simple to install. I have mine on a switched wire with my GPS so they turn off when the key is turned off. You won't need the glue they supply. Once they are on they are on for good. I used soapy water to slip them on and then had to use a mallet and proper size socket to bang them on.
I had to use a mallet for my grips, too. They're not coming off.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They work pretty well. Most of the heat is off the top, with a little heat on the bottom where my fingers wrap around. Good enough for about 10 minutes at 70+ mph in 20 degree Fahrenheit weather with cold weather gloves and the stock hand guards installed. When it gets colder, slowing down to about 60 mph is enough to make them helpful. If the more expensive units that weljo posted supply more heat to the underside I would recommend paying the price difference.
