Thanks guys! Sam the biker owner brought it to me after an auto trim shop had done some carving on it from the stock form, so I didn’t have a real good reference for stock height, but I think it is just a bit lower, mainly because I removed the forward slope of the seat by flattening out the rear. It was a custom fit job, so that is what I was focused on. The seat felt real good on the bike when I tried it out, and Sam had a huge smile on his face after a short test ride.
It’s covered in Vanguard by Futura and BoltaSoft weave pattern. Both are high end marine vinyls with really nice hand to them both.
Yes my web site is geared towards Buell seats and then I quote one off jobs like this one. Pricing would be $395 with the Pro Pad Gel insert and $325 without, but still using the orthopedic memory foam, which I select density based on rider weight and build. Of course with it being custom, stitching color can be changed, and there are other options for vinyl covers. Leather is always an upgrade option too.
